Captain Ambrose Shea was the son of Margaret Rendell-Shea and George Shea. He served in the British and Canadian Armed forces and even has a CN ferry named after him! He also served as private secretary for two Lieutenant Governors.
Captain Shea lived at the Rendell Shea Manor until his death in 1978.
