The George Rendell

This room is named after the builder and original owner of this house.

George Rendell was a prominent businessman from Devon, England. His daughter, Margaret Rendell, was the first professionally-trained nurse in Newfoundland, and he built the Rendell Shea Manor in 1879.

A large room with an original stone fireplace, large window, single clawfoot tub bath plus a separate shower, sitting area, and period furnishings.

The George Rendell accommodates up to three (3) people with a queen bed plus a single bed.
